Valencia on a rainy day
Museums and indoor visits for a change of plan without rushed bookings.

Choose a main plan and reduce travel
The useful decision is not how many interiors you can visit, but which area to spend the day in. Check the forecast and admission for your preferred attraction, then add a nearby break. Journeys between buildings are still outdoors. In heavy rain, do not plan to cross the full length of the Turia to connect activities.
Centre: the Silk Exchange and heritage
The Silk Exchange can fit a morning in the centre if opening hours suit you. The Central Market area is useful for planning a break, after checking when it opens. If ceramics interest you, consider the National Ceramics Museum in the Marqués de Dos Aguas Palace as your main alternative. There is no need to add every monument to one day.
Art according to your interests
The Fine Arts Museum, IVAM and Centre del Carme are different options. Choose by collection or current exhibition and confirm opening, admission and closures. An unhurried visit to a museum you like often offers more than rushing through several. Check the return journey from your chosen area too.
Science and screenings, with time to spare
Museu de les Ciències and Hemisfèric can form a cultural day in the City of Arts complex. For a screening, check language, time and suitability for your group. Not all spaces between venues are covered. A combined ticket does not remove travel between them or guarantee an unhurried visit to everything.
An aquarium does not mean an entirely covered day
Oceanogràfic combines different spaces: prepare rain protection for any outdoor movement and check venue notices. Before paying for a wet-weather alternative, read what can be changed or cancelled and the deadline. To keep costs manageable, choose one visit and save the beach or Albufera outing for another day.
