Choose transport around the day’s neighbourhood
The old town, the City of Arts and Sciences and the beach work best as separate blocks. Several central sights link well on foot; to change areas, compare metro, tram and bus from your actual location. Do not treat the whole Turia Gardens as a short transfer: choose a section.
Airport arrival and the right ticket
Enter the airport as your origin or destination in the operator’s planner and check the zones and services covered by your chosen ticket. A pass name alone does not establish whether the airport journey is included. Allow for the walk from the stop to your accommodation, especially with luggage or at night.
Check coverage across metro, tram and bus
Before buying a pass, check participating operators, zones, validity and whether multiple people can share it. Use Metrovalencia for its network and EMT València for city buses. If you have timed attractions, put those in your plan first, then add travel with time for waits and interchanges.
Plan your return from the coast and Albufera
Save your return stop before the walk, rather than when your battery is low. For Albufera, identify the exact place you want: a viewpoint, El Palmar and a booked activity may have different arrival points. Check return services for your actual date, not a generic weekday.
