Historic centre: a break along your route

Around the Silk Exchange and Central Market you can plan a break without leaving your walk. Visiting a market and sitting down for lunch are different plans: check hours and do not assume tables or food service will be available when you arrive. For a short stop, follow your appetite and budget rather than trying everything.

Rice dishes: ask before booking

When comparing restaurants, confirm whether the price is per person, whether a minimum party size applies and whether rice must be ordered ahead. Ask about ingredients and allergies too. Leave time to enjoy lunch rather than squeezing it in before a timed Oceanogràfic or Hemisfèric admission.

Cabanyal and the beach: plan the journey back

Combine the maritime neighbourhood with a coastal walk, then choose where to eat. Read the menu before sitting down, including drinks and any supplements. If Albufera is on another day’s plan, do not add it as though it were part of this same walk: pick a specific location and check the return journey.

Opposite the Central Market, pause at the Silk Exchange façade. If you go inside, allow time to explore and check opening hours for your day.
