Old town, Turia, sea and Albufera across four flexible days.
DAY 1
Historic València
Plan the market area for the morning, checking opening hours. The Silk Exchange is nearby; then continue to the squares and towers. Cathedral admission or climbing a monument is a separate choice.
2. Plaza del Ayuntamiento, Valencia
Cross the square and continue towards the Central Market. Adapt your walk to the heat and take a break whenever you need one.

Explore the surroundings of the market and the Silk Exchange. Walking outside does not require a ticket; check market opening hours and entry conditions for the Silk Exchange.

4. Lonja de la Seda
Opposite the Central Market, pause at the Silk Exchange façade. If you go inside, allow time to explore and check opening hours for your day.

5. Plaza de la Virgen, Valencia
Continue towards the cathedral surroundings and the square. Treat indoor visits as optional extras, according to your time and budget.

6. Torres de Serranos
Finish by the towers and the former riverbed. You can head into the garden for a break; climbing the towers is a separate visit with its own conditions.

Turia and the City of Arts
Walk this section of the garden rather than the entire former riverbed. The final stops belong to the same complex. If you choose the Oceanogràfic, allow a substantial part of the day and save other interiors for another visit.

A useful landmark to start a section of the Turia Gardens. Access to the play area depends on opening hours and current conditions.

2. Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía
Arrive through the garden and view the building from outside. A performance or indoor visit needs separate planning.

Pause beside the building and its reflecting pool. For a screening, check the session and language before purchasing.

4. Museu de les Ciències
View the building from the promenade and decide whether to add the museum. Visiting the exhibitions is separate from walking around the complex.

5. Oceanogràfic
The walk reaches the Oceanogràfic area, but going inside requires a ticket. If you choose it, allow enough time and reduce the day’s other indoor visits.

Cabanyal and the beach
Spend a morning or afternoon in the maritime neighbourhood and on the Malvarrosa promenade. Travel from the centre by public transport and return when you wish: there is no need to walk here from the City of Arts.

Explore the maritime neighbourhood before heading to the beach. This is a residential area: respect doorways and daily life when taking photos.

2. Playa de la Malvarrosa
Continue along the beach promenade. Enjoy the sea and the walk; add a meal if you wish, checking the menu and prices before sitting down.

L’Albufera, a separate day
Plan the outward and return journey before leaving. El Palmar, walks and viewpoints are not one single stop: choose a specific plan. Boat trips are optional and depend on availability and weather.
