City of Arts and Sciences: outdoors or with tickets

Separate the architecture walk from admission to individual venues.

Three different plans

Walking outside, visiting exhibitions and attending a screening are different experiences. First decide which interests you. You can enjoy architecture from public spaces without turning the outing into a day of tickets. For indoor visits, check each product’s venue: Oceanogràfic, the museum and Hemisfèric are not interchangeable names.

Museu de les Ciències

It suits visitors interested in exhibitions who want time to explore. Check the current programme and do not assume special activities needing separate bookings are included. With children, leave room for their pace rather than squeezing the museum between two timed visits. A good visit does not require seeing everything.

Hemisfèric: choose the screening too

Here the screening matters as much as the building. Check content, language, time and suitability for your group before booking. Plan travel and arrive with the margin requested by the venue. Admission to another building in the complex does not secure a seat for your preferred screening.

Combining visits without rushing

With just one afternoon, choose an outdoor walk or one main indoor visit. For a combined ticket, check valid dates and the time you actually have available. Save our Turia and contemporary architecture route to choose outdoor stops and keep purchases optional. In rain, remember that travel between buildings can be outdoors.
