From the airport to Bilbao
Bizkaibus A3247 connects the airport with Bilbao and Intermodal. Check the stop for your direction: intermediate stops differ. For an early flight, check the first departure and allow for traffic.
Metro, tram and train
The metro serves Bilbao and the coast. The tram is useful along the estuary, while Euskotren provides other connections. Intermodal is in the San Mamés area. Lines 1 and 2 and Line 3 have different operators: check the notices relevant to your journey.
Hills, accessibility and return
Artxanda and Begoña require planning for hills: they are not a flat continuation of the riverside walk. Check the funicular or local transport, available lifts and return journey. Before buying a ticket or using Barik, check fares, zones and validity with the operator.
