Puente de los Peligros bridge

Puente de los Peligros connects the historic centre with the Carmen neighbourhood and brings the Segura into your walk. Its name refers to the image of the Virgin of Los Peligros at one end. Pause only where you will not obstruct movement, then look towards the Glorieta and cathedral tower: the buildings take on a different relationship when the river enters the view. Nearby you can recognise the riverside mills and, in another direction, Manterola's footbridge. You do not need to cross every bridge to understand the landscape. Choose a short stretch and return to the centre, or continue towards the Malecón if time allows.
